Working with a Coach that understands your world, is a really great first step.  I have developed many different coaching and training programmes specifically designed with the clinician and patient relationship in mind!

Our coaching and mentoring programmes tend to be a blend of coaching and training and are for individuals that face a challenge in a specific area of the non-clinical work. 

This may be self confidence, or it may for clinicians seeking a new direction; it's purpose is to help create a shift from being in a stuck or challenging state to develop personal strategies to move forward with.

Within the landscape of healthcare, dentistry and aesthetic services, the objective always is to create patient success stories, that fulfil us professionally through having work satisfaction and happy patients delighted with their care and who refer others to us.  There is also a need to have a financial income that is representative of our skills and justifies the investments we make on courses and technologies; not to forget the clinic environment and ambience that comes from well designed facilities along with investment in your people and team development.  

 

The most successful clinicians are excellent and skilled at their clinical work and are great communicators and have good interpersonal skills, and work effectively with others and within the operational systems.

 

When one of these areas is out of sync, it can create stress and discomfort in many situations and disharmony across the board.  

 

Our coaching programmes help you to explore the challenges you are facing so that you can identify and develop a roadmap for change that will support you in working towards your outcome!

I'm Flora Couper 

Why work with me?

Having worked in team development since 2005, mostly in dental, medical and aesthetic clinics, all my work has involved helping teams integrate and build strong communication skills. 

My work in service design and as a NLP coach has been woven into my coaching and training programmes and I also rely on 'Insights Discovery' as a tool to support rapid learning to build confidence, resilience and awareness. 

My clinical background is a dental hygienist, working within a private interdisciplinary dental practice and also within an aesthetic clinic.  I have walked in your shoes and bring a breadth of tools and experience to my clients.

I am a huge believer in forever learning and I love helping others to align, evolve and thrive.

Design Coaching is a 12-16 week coaching programme specifically to support business owners, clinicians or senior managers that have become somewhat stuck and seeking a new direction or have a new vision and want to take the first steps in considering a strategy to begin the steps to take an idea from a vision to fruition.

The sales effectiveness programme is a combination of training and coaching; coaching utilising the Insights tool in identifying strengths and weaknesses in the key stages of selling and influence to then build skills around the weak areas to create a congruent selling style.  This can be for individuals or as a team.

The Leadership Coaching consists of 3-4 coaching sessions and an Insights psychometric profile to explore your current leadership style, strengths and weaknesses, resulting in developing a leadership style that is effective with others that you have relationships with.

Insights profile and coaching is 3 a part programme is suitable for any individual and is a great introduction to the Insights psychometric tool and allows you to build self awareness, have harmonious relationships with others, identify your strengths and blind spots in relation to working towards goals or trying to influence change.  

Mentoring Programmes

The mentoring programmes follow on from the coaching programme and are very similar to your maintenance programmes for your patients.  These allow for a deeper dive, or an opportunity to explore different areas within the process of self reflection, improvement steps, and  adjusting on goals and habits to ensure that you keep on moving forward!

Getting Started with the Coaching Programme 

STEP 1 Learning About You

A brief questionnaire will be sent to you and upon completion will help me to determine the best programme for you.

  • The challenges you currently face and where these exist in your life
  • The skills/tools you have in place
  • The ultimate outcome you would like to achieve

This will allow us to progress with an intention and outcome that you want from the process.

Step 2 Completing the Insights Evaluator

You will be sent a link to complete the Insights evaluator which will produce a report that will be e-mailed to you.

  • You and I receive a copy that we use in the coaching session.
  • Instructions on exploring your profile and reflecting upon it will be provided 

We will use your profile in your coaching session(s) and help you to develop self awareness, understanding others and to apply flexibility to be effective with others.

STEP 3 One to One Coaching

Depending on the programme that you proceed with will determine the number and frequency of the sessions.  The sessions are held on Zoom and will always include:

  • Learning to develop self awareness and understanding of others
  • Learning how to apply flexibility with others
  • Develop strategies into managing your own energy and boundaries within that.

From this you will navigate moving through any challenges with a more robust toolkit to get better outcomes or you can add more coaching sessions if there are other aspects that you wish to explore.

PART 4 Layering on More Learning

For many, the outcome is to have greater self awareness and understanding of others and to build communication skills.  For others it is the beginning and curiosity of all the applications within different aspects of your life that may jump out to you.  Such as:

  • Mentoring

  • Management and Leadership
  • Patient Journey Design 

Whatever aspects of coaching or training you participate in, re-visiting your profile from time to time to self reflect and develop actions to move forward is always great to support continual marginal gains.
