Insights discovery gives learners the foundation of self-awareness they’ll need to be successful at whatever they do; whether that’s developing themselves, working as part of an effective team, or leading others with authenticity.
The background of Insights
At the very start of the self-awareness journey is Insights Discovery. A psychometric tool based on the psychology of Carl Jung, Insights Discovery is built to help people understand themselves, understand others, and make the most of the relationships that affect them in the workplace.
The Insights Discovery methodology uses a simple and memorable four colour model to help people understand their style, their strengths and the value they bring to the team. We call these the colour energies, and it’s the unique mix of Fiery Red, Sunshine Yellow, Earth Green and Cool Blue energies, which determines how and why people behave the way they do.
Insights Discovery Workshop

The Insights Discovery workshop is a fun, interactive and valuable session that supports self awareness and learning the preferences of others to enable a more supportive and collaborative team. You will learn:
- Develop self awareness and how to more effective with others
- Understand the preferences of others using the Insights colour energies
- Learn simple strategies to work more effectively with others in your team and within wider teams.
By committing to developing yourself and appreciating the different needs of others, you can transform your own personal development, the team culture and the outputs of your organisation
What's Included In The Insights Discovery Workshop
Step 1Â
Complete The Insights Evaluator
The Insights evaluator is a questionnaire provided to each team member which asks a series of questions around personal preferences and actions in certain situations:
- Each team member completes the evaluator which takes around 25 minutes to complete
- An Insights Profile will be generated and e-mailed to each team member
- The colour energies of each team member will be plotted onto a team wheel as a tool to explore team dynamics, communication and considering potential challenges and even conflict.
This information is used in the interactive workshop.
Step 2Â
Read and Critique your Insights Profile
Each team member will receive their profile which is their personal property:
- Read over it to consider how much you identify with it and if there are any parts that you perhaps disagree with
- Thinking about your role within the team, consider how the colour preferences support your role and how be curious about how the blind spots could affect your role and/or working with others
- Keep a copy of the profile to bring to the workshop
Step 3Â
Attend the Insights Discovery Workshop
The workshop is engaging and interactive and is designed to enable a safe comfortable and fun environment from which to learn, build and grow: You will learn:
- The colour energy preferences and ways to interact with eachÂ
- How to build communication through self awareness and understanding others
- Understanding of others preferences
- How to recognise types to use to support your patient interactions
