A little about me...

I live on the East coast of Scotland with my two beautiful children, loving family, and wonderful friends. Outside of work, I'm passionate about being outdoors, city breaks, cold water swimming (my newest hobby!), and socialising over great food and wine.

My Background

My career began as a dental hygienist 30 years ago, where I discovered my true passion: patient education and communication. As a hygienist, I learned how to help patients truly understand their health, make informed decisions, and confidently move forward with treatment plans that serve their best interests. I've since translated these skills into a broader expertise that applies to any healthcare setting where clear communication and patient understanding are essential.

For the past 20 years, I've specialised in training and coaching programmes that support team and business development across dental, aesthetic, and private medical clinics. I've recently moved my teachings online, with people and especially YOUR patients being at the heart of every programme.

As an Insights Discovery accredited practitioner, I bring a behaviourally-informed approach to all my work. Effective patient communication starts with understanding how different people think, process information, and make decisions. My training provides practical, immediately usable frameworks tailored to how your team naturally communicates.

Three decades of clinical experience mean I truly understand your world: the challenge of explaining complex treatments, managing busy schedules, developing team dynamics, and balancing clinical excellence with business growth. I translate these real-world insights into training that works in practice, not just in theory.
